Birth Control Packaging
Fall 2023
For this project, the goal was to create a compelling package design in order to redefine a product. Our team assessed the audience for our package design.
We asked ourselves "what is the future of birth control?" and based this off of 3 axes: Communication, Empathy, and Ergonomics.
This was a collaborative project done with Sam Gonzales (CODE), Zach Musselman (ID), and Abigail Klenda (FASH)
The Future of Birth Control & Package Analysis
Our team assessed the audience for our package design. We asked ourselves "what is the future of birth control?" and based this off of 3 axes: Communication, Empathy, and Ergonomics.
Brand Exploration
When discussing the future of birth control, our stance emphasized choice as the predominant factor. Specifically, we opted to emphasize the importance of gaining knowledge about one's body and empowering individuals to advocate for their decisions. While a variety of birth control options exist, our objective was clarity in our approach.
For many, birth control is integrated into daily routines. Women commonly include their pills among other daily essentials, such as on a jewelry stand or in the bathroom.
